Step 6: Restoration
Restoration, the final step, is the process of restoring your home or business to its pre-water damage condition. Restoration may involve minor repairs, such as replacing drywall and installing new carpet, or may entail major repairs, such as the reconstruction of various areas or rooms in a home or business.
Restoration may include preventative measures to mitigate additional damage, such as temporarily boarding up windows or applying a roof tarp. We may install temporary fencing to deter any would-be intruders looking to take advantage of a damaged home. If your home has suffered particularly severe water damage, we may be required to remove (pack-out) all affected belongings into a temporary warehouse. This is sometimes done before the water removal process if there is any risk of further damage to your possessions.
